18 month contract…
its actually a 24 month contract with aol who aren’t exactly cheap £20 per month,
Good question. A 2 year contract.
AOL aren’t that bad for broadband but 2 years is too long IMO.
However 24 month contract @£20 per month = £480 total. The lappy they are offering is worth maybe £300-350. So total price for 2 years internet £130-£180 = .£5- £7 per month.
Good deal I’d say
Hmmmm. when you say catch do you mean con?
The deal with this is…
a) 2 year contract from £19.99 per month.
2) choice of laptop, (free-£150 deal)
d) ‘free’ net-gear wireless modem.
5) two year contract
H) 40 GB per month download.
There is no catch/con as long as your willing to sign up for 2 years under the knowledge that there are cheaper ISP out there, (some better but some a lot worse).
I know people who have gone for the offer and are quite happy with what they have.
The best offer, IMO, is the ‘free evening and weekend calls’
Most ISP force you to sign up for at least 18 months and all they offer is a few gig per month at a reasonable speed.
So therefore….there is no ‘real’ catch but there is a commitment with a bonus.
